Do you need to plug this into an amp and speakers?
Answer: Yes. -

Is this a solid wood or laminate uke?
Answer: Nowhere is laminate mentioned. Sengon wood seems to be the main component. The gloss finish could be a bit off-putting. I bought it for the wide-neck and am very satisfied. I'm surprised there are not other wide-neck ukes about. Tell me if there are, please. -

Can it be plugged into an amp?
Answer: Not directly, you'd have to buy some sort of pickup or transducer to clip on. I can recommend this ukulele, it's not the cheapest but it sounds very good! -
Question:
Are there any issues with the 'vintage' style open gear tuning pegs?
Answer: We bought this for our daughter and she has no problem tuning with the pegs, but as it is her first one she has nothing to compare it with. -
Question:
Can you please add the nails for a strap?
Answer: Nails are already there. -
Question:
How wide is the nut?
Answer: The nut is about 44mm wide. -
Question:
Is this a wide neck uke? What is the nut width?
Answer: Assuming nut width is where the strings start below the tuning keys where the frets start, mine is 35mm. -

It says wide nut. So what is the measurement of the nut, please?
Answer: The nut is 42mm wide. -

Do you have a tenor wide neck?
Answer: Not a tenor. A concert only.
