Can this be applied over foil tape?
Answer: This is designed to be applied metal to metal. Remove the foil tape currently there and then use this on the metal to metal joints. After it fully cures in about 1-3 days, you can then re apply the foil tape over the sealed joint. -

Can I use this to seal around where my dryer vent goes into the wall?
Answer: Yes, it will work fine for that. -

Is this used to seal metal shroud from gas pack unit to house brick?
Answer: No, it is used to seal HVAC ducts. -
Question:
Is it really tacky when you apply it or can you form the bead when applied?
Answer: You can form a bead, it extrudes like caulk.
