However, this shunt does not replace the shunt that comes with the BMV-712 smart; instead, it connects to the Cerbo GX monitoring system for battery monitoring. The Lynx shunt doesn't come with a nut, washers, or bolts to connect to the battery cables. It is easy to install and comes in a convenient size. The reception of this product has been mixed. Some customers have reported a problem with the device stopping showing up in Cerbo GX, causing them to replace this with the Smartshunt. Some have also reported poor reseller support, but overall, the product has received positive reviews for its easy installation and the perfect DC power monitoring solution it provides.
