The Netgear Nighthawk M1 MR1100 GSM/LTE Unlocked is a mobile hotspot router that allows Wi-Fi connection with excellent signal strength and battery life. The router offers split 5GHz/2.4GHz Wi-Fi broadcast, VPN tunneling, IP Passthrough, and text message access, enabling it to be an excellent option for offloading internet data to your created Wi-Fi network or LAN. The router has been tested with T-Mobile, Ting, Mint Mobile, and onesimcard.com, and works without issues. The router also features an Ethernet port for LAN and 2 radio antenna extender ports. Though the device works on a few networks, it is not believed to be functional in some countries such as China, Switzerland, Ukraine, and Thailand. The device is reported to have a difficult turn-off routine, Constantly remaining on and draining battery. The Wi-Fi admin panel doesn't always work, and the Wi-Fi signal may just randomly die for no reason. The device needs a hotspot data plan from a carrier, and the phone's sim card cannot be used. The device is relatively expensive when compared to other unlocked routers. Overall, the Netgear Nighthawk M1 MR1100 GSM/LTE Unlocked is a great option to Consider as a secondary form of internet, but it may not be reliable enough for Consistent usage.

- • Device is expensive when compared to other unlocked routers • The display is tough to use • Every single change requires a reboot, and every reboot turns it off completely • DNS settings do not work for many customers • Drops packets every 45 seconds or so.
