This wiper pivot is designed for use in Jeep CJ models, and will not fit other vehicles such as a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan. The material make-up is unclear, but it is suggested that different metals have been used in its Construction. Some customers have found that the diameter of the pivot does not fit correctly, with others suggests that the quality of the product could be improved. Some customers found that filing down the attachment points allowed the pivot to be used. Overall there were some issues with compatibility with the original wiper arms, but it seems the product works well once adjusted.
