This bunk bed is designed for both sleeping and playing, customers have used it for both purposes with satisfaction. The bed is well built for the money, and the assembly process is relatively easy. However, one customer experienced some paint being thin in places which added to the character, and other customers stated the bed arrived damaged during delivery. The recommended full-size mattress is for the bottom bunk only as the top bunk has limited space for a mattress. The ladder is also easy to attach and detach for convenience.
