The Intonator works by utilizing a series of measurements to locate the correct position for bridge saddles. Users simply place the tool against the guitar's fretboard and align it with the strings. It guides the optimal position for each saddle based on string length and vibration patterns, ensuring each string plays in tune across the fretboard. This tool is invaluable for luthiers or hobbyists who wish to achieve perfect intonation, making it easier for guitarists to play in tune throughout different chords and positions.
