Answer: If used with denser balls it can damage the bat. My daughter uses with less dense pitching machine balls and no damage (about 9 months of use). -

Answer: Not really. The pop off the bat now compared to when we first bought it is the same. This is the second Easton bat our daughter has used and she loves it.
