Although it is a small pump, it seems to pump high volumes of water well, making it an excellent choice for those who need a lot of water flowing continuously. The pump is submersible, making it easy to use and maintain, but it is essential to ensure plenty of water covers the pump. The pump's cord length is around 72 inches, making it easy to connect from a distance. However, the pump is not waterproof and will burn out the motor if it runs dry. The pump is not approved by UL or equivalent testing, but this is not expected from a small pump like this. The pump is made in China. One potential downside is that the pump tends to get clogged up and needs cleaning once in a while. It could benefit from a screen cage around the pump to prevent clogging from debris. Another downside is that some buyers have reported the pump stopped working within a few weeks.
