Answer: I bought this to calm my cat so I could cut her nails! I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I will be soon. From the reviews I read that were posted by others, I think this product would do what you want, at least it's supposed to! -

Answer: I have not detected any odor. My wife is also sensitive to odors sometimes causing problems breathing. She has no problems with this product. -

Will this help a cat adjust to living with a dog?
Answer: That is a tricky one! Is the cat the new addition to the home or is the dog the new addition? If the dog isn't chasing the cat and pretty much ignores kitty, then it will eventually work out. The spray helps calm down the anxiety, but the cat isn't going to quickly accept the dog with any spray. Time does that - it's normal for a cat to hide or be out hissing a lot when a dog enters into their territory. So long as the dog isn't bothering the cat - time will work it out. The spray will help during that time. Make sure that the cat has something high to jump up onto if she will be in the same room as the dog. Cat just needs to feel safe and that it has a quick get away or place of height to jump up to safety. I had to bring a dog into a house of 6 cats - it worked out after the adjustment period. I used Cool Kitty Calming spray alternating with Miracle Cat Calming spray. It worked for me with time and patience. Good Luck! -
