The Corsair Hydro X Series 90° Rotary Adapter Twin Pack is a valve that is most commonly used in conjunction with other items such as a fitting adapter or a pair of fittings to create a drain option for the custom cooling loop. Most commonly, it is installed using a male-male G1/4" BSPP fitting adapter. A pair of compression fittings compatible with the tubing will also work to add the ball valve to the loop. The main advantage of this product is that it makes draining the loop easy. However, one customer experienced a problem with the valve draining cooling water at 3-5ml/min and not shutting off completely even with excessive force applied to handle. Another customer claimed that the fittings feel loose to rotate and even move slightly up/down on their rotation axis. This made them conclude that they wouldn't trust this product not to leak at all. The adapters were also Considered expensive by one customer.
