Featuring close-ratio gearing, this TKX is optimized for improved acceleration, tighter gear spacing, and performance driving. Advanced multi-cone synchronizers and hybrid bronze/carbon synchro rings provide smooth, precise shifts at engine speeds up to 7,500 RPM, making it ideal for both aggressive street use and track-focused builds. Engineered for strength and reliability, the TKX utilizes a rigid 3-piece aluminum housing with a ribbed design for added structural integrity. Optimized gear geometry reduces stress while minimizing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). Premium internals, including caged needle bearings and ASTM 4615 alloy steel gears and shafts, ensure long-term durability and consistent performance under load. Whether upgrading a classic GM muscle car or building a custom street machine, the TKX provides a modern drivetrain solution with outstanding drivability, strength, and installation flexibility. Close ratio gearing for improved acceleration and performance driving. 600 lb-ft torque capacity with high-RPM shifting up to 7,500+ RPM. Compact, end-loaded design fits most tunnels with little to no modification. Three selectable shifter locations for flexible installation.
