Answer: Not as is because the shirt pocket is too thin, however, if you pinch the clip with pliers it will tighten up and then hold the chain in place. -

Answer: It is not silver plated, but it has a degree of chrome. It is better than silver plating. It can be easily passivated in the air, and a very thin passivation film is formed on the surface to show the properties of precious metals. -
