About This Item
Introducing our Chore Chart with Screen Time Tracker, the ultimate solution for managing your child's chores and screen time allocation. As a busy mom of four, I understand the struggle of getting kids to complete their chores without incentives. That's why I created this interactive chore chart that allows kids to earn screen time as a reward for their hard work. With room for up to 10 chores, our chore chart provides a comprehensive overview of your child's tasks.
Each chore comes with an accompanying Screen Token, which acts as a reward for chore completion. The chart also features a bank to store earned tokens and a storage spot for unused ones. We offer two different chart and screen token styles to suit your preferences. The first option is Dry Erase Chores, where you can write the chores with a dry or wet erase marker (marker not included).
The second option is Movable Chore Tokens, where you will receive 12 illustrated chores sealed in laminate with a velcoin back. This allows you to easily move the tokens around as needed. When it comes to the screen tokens, we have two options for you. Option 1 is Unsealed, where the screen tokens are printed on water-resistant sticker paper and attached to a plastic circle.
Option 2 is Sealed, where the sticker paper is protected with a 5 mil laminate, keeping the screen tokens safe from grubby little fingers (the same method used for the chore tokens). You can choose from two screen token options: 12 tokens or 21 tokens. The 12 token option includes 5 tokens of 5 minutes, 3 tokens of 10 minutes, 3 tokens of 15 minutes, and 1 token of 30 minutes. The 21 token option includes 10 tokens of 5 minutes, 5 tokens of 10 minutes, 4 tokens of 15 minutes, and 2 tokens of 30 minutes. Our family personally uses this chart by implementing a rule of no screen time before school.
However, my kids can start banking their earned screen time to use once school is out. The screen time they earn can be spent on TV, games, or messaging apps. We don't make them use their earned minutes for family activities unless they are double screening.
